MR Imaging Reference API for Cardiovascular Limits from Evidence

Welcome to MIRACLE - MR Imaging Reference API for Cardiovascular Limits from Evidence
What is MIRACLE?
MIRACLE (MR Imaging Reference API for Cardiovascular Limits from Evidence) is a specialized API that provides standardized reference values for cardiovascular measurements derived from cardiac MRI data. It serves as a clinical decision support tool for healthcare professionals, researchers, and medical institutions working on building CMR applications or grounding LLMs with using Functional Calling/Tool Use.
The API delivers evidence-based reference ranges for various cardiac parameters across different patient populations, eliminating the need for manual lookup in reference tables and enabling seamless integration with clinical workflows and research applications.
How MIRACLE Works
MIRACLE organizes its reference data into distinct clinical domains, each serving a specific patient population such as Pediatric, Athletes or specific to cardiac chambers such as LV_F&G (Left ventricle functional and geometric parameters) etc.
Each domain accepts specific input parameters and returns evidence-based reference data including mean values, standard deviations, and clinically relevant limits.
Open-Access API
MIRACLE operates as an open-access API with usage limitations, meaning:
✅ Freely accessible: Anyone can call the API endpoints without authentication or registration
✅ Production-ready: Designed for integration into clinical and research applications
✅ No usage fees: The service is provided at no cost to users
⚠️ Important limitations: The API is hosted on Google Apps Script, which imposes execution time limits and daily quotas. The service is provided "as-is" without guaranteed uptime or support levels
This model allows us to provide valuable reference data to the medical community while maintaining control over the data integrity and quality.
Why Use MIRACLE?
- Evidence-based: Reference values derived from peer-reviewed research
- Time-saving: Eliminates manual lookup in reference tables
- Integration-ready: Simple REST API for easy incorporation into clinical systems
- Specialized domains: Tailored reference data for specific patient populations
- Standardized methodology: Consistent calculation approach across all domains
Getting Started
- Select your clinical domain from the navigation menu
- Review the required parameters for your use case
- Construct your API request with the appropriate parameters
- Integrate the JSON response into your application or workflow
Our documentation provides detailed information about each domain, including parameter requirements, example requests, and response structures.
